Mary Lorene Stults

age 88, of Phoenix AZ. surrounded by her family, went home to the Lord to begin her new life on Thursday, September 29, 2011. Mary was born October 30, 1922 in Durant, Oklahoma to Lottie Lee and Jack Rambo. She moved to Dallas, Texas in her teens and married John (Jack) C. Stults, Sr. in December 1944. The couple moved to Phoenix, Arizona where they began their family.

Preceded in death by her husband Jack, Mary is survived by her four children, Craig (Ann) Stults, Lincoln, CA, Lynn Gaston, Glendale, AZ, David Stults, Chandler, AZ, and Alan (Kim) Stults, Peoria, AZ; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Mary was an award winning Avon sales representative spanning a 47 year career. She won numerous awards throughout her career (President’s Club/Mrs. Albee) and was a top sales performer in her district as well as statewide. As an Avon Lady, Mary made untold long lasting friendships. Family was always important to her so the Sunday evening gatherings always included many delicious home cooked meals and the holidays were always filled with love, laughter and food. Her love of music and dance, especially at the VFW Post 790 in Scottsdale, AZ brought her much joy and many new friends later in life. Mary was the ultimate animal lover as no stray dog or cat was ever turned away or left hungry. Visitation will be held at Green Acres Cemetery Chapel, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale AZ on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 6:00PM – 8:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Green Acres starting at 9:30AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower, Phoenix AZ, 85014.
