I knew Nishin from our days at Motorola and was so sad to just learn of his passing. I have fond memories of hanging with him, Carlos Paneda, and many others at happy hours and Tx coastal outings. My condolences to his family. He was taken too soon.

Nishin was my oldest and best friend.  Actually, he was like a brother to me.  I wish I had spoke at his funeral but I didn't have it in me, and feel I did him and his family an injustice.   We met freshman year of high school and quickly became best friends. He made high School bearable and was always fun and a joy to be around.  After high school we went to college together at the University of Arizona, where he worked harder than anyone I knew.  We lived together for the first two years of college and we made the best of every moment.  It was a great time in our lives and set us towards the future.  We traveled together and met up many times a year.  Even though, after college, we lived two states apart, we always made time to see each other.  He of course, was the best man at my wedding, and I will always cherish those days.   He brought Happiness wherever he went and made this world a Better and Brighter place to be in, and will be terribly missed!   With his passing, this world now seems a little darker and colder and it hurts me down to my very core.  I don't know how to honor 44 years of friendship by saying something?  He was my brother and I loved him and I don't know how to say goodbye?   I hope that one day, I can think about him, and our time together, and it doesn't feel like my chest is caving in and I can not breathe!  Actually, what I really hope for, is that one day, memories of our time together will bring me peace, Comfort, and happiness, because I was sooo very fortunate to have had him in my life, and to have called him my friend and my brother!

Dear Seema and the Sura family, 

I am so sorry for your loss. 

I had the pleasure of meeting Nish through our mutual friend Linette around 2010. His love of life was infectious. The three of us shared many laughs over the years, usually over a good meal. 

Nish was a fiercely loyal friend. In 2012, Linette’s husband was admitted to the Cleveland Clinic. Without hesitation, Nish paid for all the flights and helped with the hotel costs. 

The last time I met up with Nish in person was 2018. He was working on his software app startup, and we would have long talks to brainstorm and to commiserate on the challenges of being an entrepreneur. 

I will always remember Nish for having a big smile, an even bigger laugh, and the biggest heart in the room.

I had the pleasure of working with Nish in a variety of roles while we were at Motorola/Freescale.  What a great guy.  

We kept in touch after we both left and this photo was taken shortly after I retired in 2017.  We made it a point to “meet up”, as Nish would say, every month or two at a favorite spot - Sonesta Rooftop Bar.  Of course, we would talk sports and hours would pass in lively conversation.

Nish will be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of working directly with Nishin for several years as we both neared the end of our time with Motorola/Freescale. Nishin was a pleasure.  Intelligent, creative, articulate, but most of all, a genuinely good person. We are less without him.
