Nandini and I have known Nitin since we came to Columbus in 1998. He was the kindest of person , always there to offer help in community for any projects. I have known about most of his projects around the house , described so lovingly and proudly by Asha at work. Wish I had opportunity to learn few skills from him. He will be dearly missed. Rest in peace my friend. 


What can I say about Nitin… my husband of almost 38 years, and father to our two beautiful children, Vijay and Amisha that hasn’t already been said by so many? Our story began the day I met him at his brother’s home in London, England on a very cold and foggy November day in 1982. An arrangement made for a potential arranged marriage by my parents and his. I never thought that this man would end up being the love of my life, my best friend, my partner in crime and any other terms of endearment one can think of. Nitin was loving, caring, mischievous, and the calm to my uber excited nature. He always brought a smile to my face just by my thinking of him. Random people commented that we must be newlyweds... if they only knew. Nitin’s smile was infectious. He could never lie because he had a “tell” that I always called him out on. He would drive me nuts and laugh so heartily begging me to tell him what it was... I never did.  We fell asleep holding each other’s hands until one of us got too hot... it was always him. Nitin, I and our children loved cooking together, traveling the world, and working on home projects. We’re talking about major home projects… building every single kitchen cabinet, bookshelf, and fireplace mantle. Turning a covered porch into a sunroom. Wiring, plumbing, painting… he could SEW for Pete’s sake! No project was too big for this man, he loved doing all of them. He was our MacGyver... he left us with projects incomplete. Nitin taught our children to be good, kind people, and they are. He taught them things that he loved to do... they learned, and thus bonded even more with each other. Nitin was good at so many things and meant so much to so many... his shoes will be difficult to fill. To everyone who knew him, learned from him, worked with him, to those who met him by happenstance, and to those who loved him for who he was... Thank you for being in his life.

Nitin was the kindest man. I am grateful to have worked with him at Siemens. He was loved and well respected by so many. My heartfelt prayers are with his family and friends. May the beautiful memories of your loved one bring comfort.

I met Mr. Patel working security at Quest Diagnostics last year. We always greeted each other with a jovial hello. He came to be a friendly constant in my day to day routine. It was so sad hearing of his passing. Thank you Mr. Patel for making my mornings at Quest a little brighter with your presence. You will truly be missed.

I am DEEPLY SADDENED by the loss of my friend. Whenever you saw him, he ALWAYS had a smile on his face  with something good to say. He would brighten the room  with his "larger than life " personality.  Perhaps one of the smartest people I know,  Nitin could take chewing gum, duct tape and shoestring to rig up our instrument until the official part would come in.He would never leave us stranded. Just like his loyalty and strong work ethic were portrayed in his work,  his loyalty, dedication and love for his family  were ALWAYS on display. He was a loving husband , father, son and friend. Nitin had such a large personality. When he came into a room, he brought smiles. He brought happiness. Unfortunately- When someone like that passes away, it leaves a huge void. We are all so much better off from having known him, but now we are so very aware that he is gone. Our neighbor gatherings will never be the same. We miss you, my friend.

I met Nitin 29 years ago.  He was one of my instructors as a student  and my coworker. He always laughed and  talked about his family. My prayers go out to his friends and family. He will be greatly missed. I was blessed to know him.

I first met Nitin when I was a MedTech student back in 1993. He was working in Micro and was a great teacher, and mentor to the students, and myself. More recently, Nitin was our Service Rep for many years, through Siemens, at the John B. Amos Cancer Center.
I remember how he had to climb on the counters to service the instruments, but he did it with a great big smile, (as I spotted! ) He was always a kind man, loved his family (talked about them a lot), and always had a smile, not to mention that he was the BEST in his field.  Heaven gained a sweet soul for sure! He will truly be missed.

School in Leicester U.K .Nitin and I moved to Canada in 1982  to join his family Kishorbhai Kirtibhabi Aku Ba and Bapuji I have lots of  wonderful memories together here in Canada.
 Our first job was selling Encyclopaedia Britannica in Canada
I still remember how remarkable selling skill he had  we were a great team together If you can sell Encyclopaedia Britannica you can sell anything in the whole world.

 My name is Pat Gorman and I worked several installs alongside your Husband/Father.   Although I only knew him for a short time I thought of him as a friend as well as a colleague.  
I always enjoyed our conversations both while we were working and over the occasional evening scotch.
One of my fondest after work activities with Nitin was when one of the team brought their Oculus VR with them for the trip,  needless to say that laughter and hilarity ensued.  

I will always remember his smile and the kindness he showed everyone.   I will miss him and I am truly sorry for your loss.

I have known Nitin as both a mentor and a friend. His warm smile and inviting personality made him a welcome member of every team he was on. He will be sorely missed by all. Our prayers go out to his family and loved ones at this difficult time.

I met Nitin 29 years ago. He was my instructor for clinicals and later we became coworkers and good friends. I fondly remember he always had a smile and positive attitude. I would truly enjoy hearing him speak of Asha and the kids. He entertained us with wonderful stories and pictures of his family vacations. I have never met someone more selfless and dedicated to family. Nitin was a fun person to be around during our many lab people adventures like bowling and dining out. Nitin and Asha always made my family and I feel special. They cooked the best curry chicken for my 50th birthday! Nitin and Asha were the best example of a happy couple.  Nitin was my go to guy for help with lab instruments and he never let me down. He was an absolute professional in every sense of the word. In every aspect of his life he gave 100% of himself. He would share pictures of beautiful woodwork he had completed for his home and I still have a wonderful cutting board he hand crafted for me. If it is true that you don't remember what people looked like or what they did or said but that you only remember just how they made you feel then Nitin will certainly be forever and always remembered! We are shattered by the loss of our uncle and grand-uncle to our kids.  He was such an amazing person and always had the biggest smile and the warmest hugs.  Any room would just brighten up with energy because of kaka.  Our favorite memories of kaka are when he visited us in Chicago with his family.  We had such a great time and will hold on to those moments of being together as a family forever.  He loved Nikhil and Sahil so much and we are so happy that we got to spend that time with him.  He will forever be 'Cool dada' to them.

It’s hard to believe that you are not here. I met you for the first time in 2002 when I moved to America and you were more like a friend than an uncle. We kept in touch so many times and often talked about a family holiday but due to circumstances in life it never happened. I am glad I got to see you in 2019 and you briefly saw my son Shaarav in a video call. Now that your gone all I have is the great memories of when we met up and talked. I still want to go into my phone contacts and dial your number to talk to you, but it’s not possible. I won’t ever forget you and the great advice you gave. Don’t worry about Asha kaki and the kids we are there for them always.

Growing up as a child in Leicester you were, are and always will my hero, my role model and the person i inspired to be like. I have no more tears left to shed. My childhood was very happy because of you. I will never forget the memories you have left me with.

I met Nitin on my first day of work, over 12 years ago.  In that time, I was fortunate enough to spend many hours with him, working, traveling, having lunches and dinners, and just hanging out after work.  I will always fondly remember the way he said “buddy” when he was talking to me.  Outside of being a supportive, kind mentor and fountain of knowledge at work, what I probably remember most about Nitin was how much he loved his family.  During our times together, talking one on one, he was always going on about his wife and children, accomplishments this one or that one had made, trips they had taken together, and even projects they had worked on as a family.  He was very proud of them, and a fine example of how a devoted husband and loving father should conduct himself.  He was my friend.  I am heartbroken that he is gone and will miss him greatly.  I will cherish the memories I have of him always.  My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to his family in this time of sorrow.

I will never forget Nitin’s incredible spirit. He was such a great pleasure to be around.  He always had a warm greeting for everyone who he spoke with. He had a playful nature and infectious smile that made long days at work a delightful time where you were guaranteed to go home with sore cheeks from laughter. At work, he had a remarkable ability to make you feel like you were his equal, all the while he was a hundred steps ahead of you.  He was a true professional and an amazing mentor. As a friend, I’ve never known a more kind person.  I will always cherish the times that I had the pleasure of getting to know Nitin.  You will be dearly missed!

Nitin was just one of the best men I know!  From the first time I interviewed him to join my team he always had a positive, go getter attitude.  I consider him and all my team family.  The way he made us laugh and how amazing he was with his work and knowledge will be greatly missed.   

He always smiled no matter where I asked him to go or what crazy task was presented...   

I’m really going to miss him.
