Paul J. Williams

87, passed away on December 12, 2014 in Flagstaff, Arizona. He was born on August 25, 1927 in St. Paul Minnesota. Paul graduated with a Bachelor degree and was the pastor for 19 years at Gladstone Baptist Church in Maplewood, Minnesota. He later worked at Moody Bible Institute for 35 years in the Stewardship Department. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather that will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his wife Marion and granddaughter Deborah Zobel. Paul is survived by his daughters Jean (Dale) Zobel, Linda (Dennis) Audorff, Brenda (Clint) Ayers, and Janet Berry, grandchildren Cherie, Jennifer, Jeremy, Brandon, Sarah, Bryce, Savannah, George, Michael, and Brandee, great-grandchildren Bradley, Jacob, Emily, Kate, Will, Hunter, Hannah, and Andrew. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois or the Deborah Zobel Scholarship Fund at The Master’s College in Santa Clarita, California. Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM, Friday, January 2, 2015 at the First Baptist Church Tempe, located at 4525 South McClintock Drive, Tempe, Arizona 85282. Paul will be laid to rest at Green Acres Cemetery, Love Mausoleum, located at 401 North Hayden Road Scottsdale, Arizona 85257.
