She was a true saint and will be missed! I enjoyed hearing her updates about various international missions. She was a great piano player and cared about everyone. My condolences.

Rachel was the sweetest lady ever. She will be deeply missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. My best memory of Rachel was when I had the privilege of traveling to Mexico on a mission trip. For her it was a sort of reunion with the Badillo family. She was particularly good friends with Lupe Badillo along with Judy Myers who coordinated the trip. The three of them are now waiting on the Lord’s return. With tears in my eyes, I say I look forward to seeing them all together again. Rest in peace, Rachel, til we meet again.

Rachel was a gifted pianist and organist. I will miss listening to her gentle touch on the keyboards every Sunday. Rachel was one of the first women I met at a church potluck. I remarked how delicious a Jell-O was and asked, "I wonder who made this?" She answered, "I did." The next Sunday she gave me the handwritten recipe on a card. That's who Rachel was: generous, kind, and loving.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Carr was a staple in the old neighborhood on Pecan. I have fond memories of seeing her almost daily, waving and smiling as we played up and down the street. She was always prepared when we needed a snack for a little pick me up. My sincerest condolences to family.
