Rajnikant Rambhai Patel

Rajnikant Rambhai Patel, known affectionately as Roy, passed away on July 12th, 2025, at the age of 67. Roy was a beloved resident of Tempe, Arizona, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Born in Zambia on February 10th, 1958, Roy lived a life marked by compassion, devotion, and generosity. He was married to Daxaben Patel on December 12th, 1978, in Sevni, India, with whom he shared a beautiful life and family.

Roy was a cherished figure in the hotels and hospitality industry, dedicating over 40 years to his work. He was known for his honesty, hard work, and wise counsel. His passion for good food, traveling, and entertaining brought joy to many, reflecting his selfless and kind-hearted nature.

Roy is survived by his devoted spouse, Daxaben, his children, Dipesh and Reyna, and his grandchildren, Surina, Niam, Kayan, and Zara. He also leaves behind his sibling, Jagdish, and family members Hemlata, Jatin, and Ritesh, who will continue to cherish his memory.

On July 16th, 2025 services will begin at 9:30 am at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery 401 N. Hayden Road Scottsdale, AZ 85257 and will be followed by a Witness Cremation at 12:00 pm.

Roy's life was a testament to patience and kindness, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
