Robert John Ament

Ament, Robert J Sr., 88, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones. Robert was born to Jake and Helen Ament in Merrill, Wisconsin. He and his beautiful wife, Florence, relocated to Phoenix and raised eight wonderful children. In the 60’s, Robert worked construction on many now historical projects. With his enormous personality, Robert would venture into his own business, continuing well into retirement later at the Greyhound Park swap meet. Robert is preceded in death by his beloved sons, Michael and Patrick Ament. He is survived by his wife, Florence; son Robert (Kelly) Ament; daughters Cyndi Ament, Lynda (Eric) Wolowicz, Diane (Bill) Hanville, Darlene (Greg) Buerger, Gloria (Bart) Whiles; sister Roxy (Dave) Johnson; brother Ron (Shirley) Ament; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Please join his family in a celebration of life as we say goodbye to our beloved Bob; Husband, Dad, Brother, Grandpa, Uncle, and Friend. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at 10:00 am at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery, 401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. Reception to follow at their home.
