

On Saturday December 19th, 2020 Robert “Bob” J. Dault, loving husband and dedicated father of 2 passed away at the age of 71. Bob was born on August 20, 1949 in Wilmette, IL. to Gilbert and Lillian Dault. He attended the college of Artesia in New Mexico where he discovered his preference for sunny weather. After a vacation trip to Arizona where he met the love of his life he relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona. On March 31, 1973 he married Marcia J. Brua in Scottsdale, AZ. They remained together until his passing for over 47 years. They would become parents to two children, daughter Michelle and son Brian. He had a successful career as an insurance claims adjuster where he became a disaster recovery specialist. Travelling to the sites of natural disasters to work onsite claims.
Bob was an avid bowler and great ambassador for the bowling community. Using his personal time to help raise money in record amounts for the Bowlers to Veterans Link, a volunteer service that coordinates recreational therapy for veterans. He was recognized for his efforts by being inducted to the Mesa Valley Metro Bowling associations Hall of fame in 2019, for meritorious service. He also had a deep affinity for classic cars. In his second career running an auto body and paint shop he helped to work on and design paint schemes for many car show entrants. He was known for his welcoming smile and being a friend to all. He was quick witted and always had a joke for anyone who’d listen.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert and Mother, Lillian. He is survived by his wife Marcia, his two children Michelle and Brian, his two in-law children (whom he loved as his own) Todd and Stacey, His grandson Devin, His sister Gail Crosby, His brother Joseph Dault and several nieces and nephews.
A remembrance of life event will be held at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery 401 North Hayden Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85257. On Sunday Jan 3rd at 1:30pm in the Ocotillo Room.
