Robert Allen Knaperek, 73, passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2026. He was born on December 27, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, Robert lived a full and generous life. He was the beloved son of Wendell and Dolores Knaperek, who preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his siblings Barbara Galka, William Knaperek, Dennis Knaperek, and Susan Cox.
Robert was a devoted husband to his beloved Laura, whom he often said he knew he would marry the very first day he saw her. She preceded him in death, and their love remains a lasting legacy.
He leaves behind six children: Jeshiva (Anthony), Christopher, Beth (JR), Sarah, Phyllis (Spencer), and Anthony (Jessica). He was a proud grandfather to 18 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 3, all of whom brought him immense joy. He is survived by his sisters Karen Knaperek and Donna Lenihan-Stack (John).
A lifelong salesman, Robert loved going to work and meeting new people. He surrounded himself with good people, never met a stranger, and lived life big. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation with reception will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, 6 - 8:00 pm, Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85257. Funeral Service and Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, 10:00 am, Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints - Lakeshore Ward Building, 6001 S. Lakeshore Drive, Tempe, AZ 85283. Final Visitation will begin at 9 am.
