Ruth Ellen Cauble

Ruth Ellen Cauble, 83, passed away and went to meet her beloved Savior on April 18, 2016 at her home in Gilbert, Arizona. She was born August 2, 1932 in Oskaloosa, Kansas to John and Gladys Shull Glock. Ruth grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Bartram High School. After high school she attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois where she received a BA in Christian Education and Speech. Ruth married Murray Loraine “Lo” Cauble in 1957 who also graduated from Wheaton College and they were married in Philadelphia. They were happily married for 59 years. Ruth was a member of Sun Valley Community Church in Tempe, AZ. She enjoyed teaching, doing readings and oral interpretation, travel with Lo, and was his administrative assist for 10 years until they both retired. Ruth was a phenomenal mother and mentor to her four children. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Marita Lake. Ruth is survived by her spouse Murray (Lo) of Gilbert, AZ, her daughter Lynnae (Billy) Bussell of Walton, KY, her sons Steven (Anne) Cauble of Concord, NH, Daniel (Nan) Cauble of Gilbert, AZ and David (Shelly) Cauble of Trussville, AL. She is also survived by seven granddaughters and three grandsons. She has one surviving sister, Dorothy Wilson of Aurora, CO, and her sister-in-law Beverly Klepser of Marion, IN and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Sun Valley Community Church, Tempe Campus, 6101 South River Drive, Tempe, AZ 85283, on Sunday May 1, 2016 at 4:00 pm.
