Loving son of Barbara L. Edwards (nee Lantski) and David F. Edwards. Beloved brother of Kristina (Dameon) Kuhl (nee Edwards). Nephew of Cathey E. (Joe) Perrault and Philip Edwards. Cousin and friend to many.
Stefan passed away peacefully after a lengthy cancer journey. Throughout that time he maintained a stoic attitude and never once complained, in spite of periods of intense pain and multiple surgeries.
In his youth, he was active in numerous sports, including baseball, swim and diving teams, and primarily competitive gymnastics, as well as exhibition gymnastics. He loved the outdoors, especially camping and hiking. Reading and cooking were other activities he enjoyed, and in his later years, he became an avid gamer.
He will be remembered for his love of animals, and will be sorely missed by his cat, Echo. Stefan donated his cornea to give somebody the gift of sight. He was greatly loved by family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Services: Visitation Monday, November 10, 2025, Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road, 4 - 7 p.m. Interment Green Acres Cemetery, Scottsdale, AZ. If desired contributions may be made to Country Acres Rescue, 739 Weidman Rd., Manchester, MO 63011. A private graveside service will take place at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
