

Thomas J. Trimble, 94, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away peacefully at home on February 10, 2026. Born at Carter’s Creek, Maury County, Tennessee, on September 3, 1931, Tom graduated from David Lipscomb College before earning law degrees from Vanderbilt University and New York University. He married Glenna Jones on September 3, 1957, in San Antonio, Texas. Following his service in the Air Force Judge Advocate General's Corps, Tom established a distinguished legal career in Phoenix, Arizona. He later served as General Counsel for Southwest Gas in Las Vegas, Nevada, until his retirement in 1996. Beyond his professional life, he served on the boards of various Christian colleges, charities, and civic organizations. Tom was devoted to Christ and His church, to his family, to Christian education, and to helping others. He was also an avid sports fan, particularly of the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Arizona Cardinals, and the Vanderbilt Commodores. Tom is survived by his wife of 68 years, Glenna; his daughter Julie Minges and son-in-law Mark Minges; his son James and daughter-in-law Lynn; and his beloved grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, and Lizabeth.
