

Andy Wang was born on June 6th, 1955 in Taipei, Taiwan. He was the youngest of four siblings and the only son. He came to the United States at the age of 22 and earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington in construction management.
He married the love of his life Sumiko in 1986, having two sons, Jerry and Jason. He found a balance between his family and working in the construction field. Here he built his skills through the years. This allowed him to start his own construction company.
He was also actively involved in the community spending time mentoring at the Seattle Go Center and teaching golf to seniors. He devoted himself tirelessly for others selflessly and always did so with patience and a loving smile.
He was one of the founders of the Formosa Golf Club in 1999 and continued to be a part of the club throughout his life. He also was the Chairman of the club in its second year.
Andy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son. He always took it upon himself to take care of family, including his father after his mother's passing.
His family, friends, and community will always remember his generosity and he will be cherished in this life and will be dearly missed.
