Ben C De Guzman

Ben C De Guzman, age 95, of Kenmore, Washington passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Ben was born July 14, 1926 in Malolos, Philippines. Ben is survived by his children, Bernie and Jun (Philippines), Yolanda (Canada), Suzette (Ohio), grandchildren, Angela, Sarah, Laura and Grace, great granddaughter Millie, and significant other, Edith.

Ben was a previous Professor in Architecture, a previous Amateur Champion Golfer in Makati. He loved cameras, and music in general.

Love is all I had and fond memories is all I can share,

Smile is what you see in me,

and happiness in you is what I want to see.

Cry less and be happy more

My kisses and wink when you close your eyes

is what I want you all to remember me by.

Let’s lift our spirits while we drift from this world

May the love in my heart be shared

by those who are still on earth.

When we see flowers, may those various wonderful colors find differences

in us but bring the same awe and appreciation in the beauty of our hearts within us.

A funeral service for Ben will be held Monday, August 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Acacia Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle, WA 98155, followed by a committal service at 1:00 PM
