Brice was a local boy born in Seattle on January 19, 1934 to Gust and Anna Janson. He attended Roosevelt High School and graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington. Brice owned and operated the Janson Bookstore in downtown Seattle for over 40 years, specializing in technical books.
Brice passed away on December 22, 2013 in Shoreline at the age of 79 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his sister Maryann, and is survived by his wife of 24 years, Gweneth Janson, and a niece Beckyann. There will be no public services. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation of children’s books to a school library in Brice’s name.
