

Charles “Chuck” Terhune was born in Snoqualmie Falls, WA, 7 March 1923, to Mittie & Elsie Terhune. A loyal Husky, Chuck graduated with a B.S.in Chemistry from the University of Washington 1949. Chuck was married to Eda “Gilly” Gilbert December 1942.
Chuck served in the U.S.Army February 1943 through June 1946, discharged as Captain. As a sideline, was appointed Island Liquor Officer of a very active club while in service on Tinian in the Marianas Islands. C.R.Terhune was Vice President with Farwest Paint Mfg Co, Inc in Seattle before his Manufacturing Research and Development Supervisor role with Boeing. Chuck served his Yarrow Point community as Commissioner to King County Water Dist.#1. Chuck and Gilly were neighbors and friends with Dick and Juanita Loder for 54 years on Yarrow Point. Chuck and Gilly enjoyed many vacations to Maui, HI and Camano Island, WA. Chuck was also appreciated for tutoring young students in math.
Chuck is survived by a son in Reno; daughter, Randi, in Tacoma; Grandson Robert; Granddaughter Jennifer & Great-Grandson Jameson Charles Green of Reno, NV; Donna Boyd and Linda McCorkle, Nieces, of E.WA and their families. Chuck enjoyed the love of the entire Susan and Ronald Hughes Family
Charles R. Terhune was laid to rest next to his beloved wife and friend, Gilly, 15 July 2021 at Acacia Memorial Park in Seattle, WA.
