

A beloved mom, sister, aunt, grand and great-grand aunt Clara Yee Yue Tsoi went to be with the Lord at 90 on August 9, 2020. Born in Swatow, China on February 14, 1930 to Peter Chan and Clara Lam. Clara spent much of her early life in Shanghai before relocating to Hong Kong in 1957. In 1985, she and her family immigrated to U.S.A and settled in Seattle, WA.
Clara was a piano teacher for forty some years and has served as a church pianist in Swatow, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Seattle. She was a lover of arts and music. She enjoyed cooking, playing piano, crafts and knitting. Her hands were very dexterous and she worked wonders with them. She was also a very kind, genuine, gentle, loving and caring person. She possessed the most beautiful smile that could light up any soul. She was considered “favorite “ and “the best” in everyone’s heart. Despite her illness, she was always positive and never once complained. Overall, she was well loved and her life was well lived.
Clara was devoted to her family and cherished them very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband (Samuel Tsoi) and her brother (Bernard Chan). She is survived by her son, Theodore (Mimi Ho) , daughter, Christina (Deniz Chan); siblings, Anna Lee, Denis Chan (Joan Chan), Eddie Chan, Fred Chan (Yin Wai Lam); as well as nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
