Colleen Kwan passed away peacefully on June 25, 2021 at the age of 72. Colleen was born on April 8, 1949 in Hong Kong. She graduated from University of Hong Kong in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree and a few years later a Master of Communications degree from University of Washington. She was active in the Chinese community and volunteered at the Chinese Information and Services Center for many years. She also volunteered at the Pacific Northwest Swimming as the "Strokes and Turns" judge, Chief Judge and Meet Referee. She was the owner and operator of Colleen Kwan Insurance Agency from 1985-2007. Colleen started working at King County Elections in 2007 and held the Sr. Business Analyst position until her passing in June 2021. Colleen is survived by her brother Andrew, sisters Elizabeth, Maria and many nieces and nephews.
