

Constance Anne Neukirch LINE Our beloved mother and grandmother, Connie Line of Seattle, Washington died on January 26th after a long illness which she fought with dignity and courage. Her closest family members were at her side. Connie was born in Seattle on March 29th, 1940 to Otto and Ruth Neukirch. Connie was a loyal, generous, quick witted, feisty and compassionate woman. She graduated from Garfield High School in 1958 and remained close friends with many of her classmates throughout her life. She worked at Boeing for over 10 years. It was there that she met Stephen Line, they were married in 1968. She spent the next several years care giving to family members and volunteering with numerous groups including the Seattle Animal Shelter. Connie owned and managed several properties in the Seattle area. Her hobbies included reading, listening to music as well as playing the piano, gardening, aerobics, traveling and fine dining. She was a member of the Emerald City Wanderers Volkswalking Club. She did walks in all 50 states as well as several continents. She was a steward of her family's history which included preserving an early 1900's tree house, which was a source of happiness, serenity and many memorable "tea parties" with friends, old and new. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Stephen, brother Otto Jr., and sister Wanda Sharp. She is survived by her children, Valerie Line, Penny Stewart, David Line, Jerry Line, Judy Line, and Patty Line. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Theresa, Eric, Nathan, Zachary, Sarah, Janna, and Jessie, and 2 great-granddaughters, Sadie and Syrah. Services will be held on February 3rd at 10 a.m. at Acacia Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way N.E. in Seattle. Reception following. Memorials may be made to the N.W. Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation and the Pacific Ovarian Cancer Research Consortium.
