Craig was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 23, 1951 to Mary and Norman Christensen. He attended Saint Patrick Elementary School and Chesterton High School. Craig was the Captain of the 1969 Chesterton High School Football Team which was the last CHS team to win The Indiana State Championship. He studied Electrical Engineering at Purdue University and held several positions in his field in Indiana and Alabama before retiring to Seattle.
Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Mary Christensen and his brothers Thomas and Lawrence/“Pudge” Christensen. He is survived by his daughter Cori Christensen of Indianapolis, sister Margaret Hanaway (Bob) of Valparaiso, brothers Michael (Sharon) Christensen of Lansing, Illinois, Paul (Sunny) Christensen of Porter, sister Jane Conrad (Joe) of Indianapolis, and Annette Dybas of Chesterton.
Craig was a loving son, brother, father and uncle to his multitude of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed sharing jokes and stories with anyone who would listen
