

Dolores Anna Culver from Westport, WA passed away at Willapa Harbor Care Center on March 17, 2012 at the age of 87. She was born April 25, 1924 to Peter and Anna Larsen, and a family of 12 brothers and sisters in Morgan, WI. She graduated from Oconto Falls High School in 1942, and attended Junior College before enlisting in the Navy in 1944. She served as a secretary in the Waves, and was stationed in Chicago. She met Benjamin Culver there, and they were married on August 20, 1949 in a double wedding with her sister Olivette and Herbert Wolff. The marrieages were performed by her brother, the Rev. James Larsen. In the 1950's they moved to Seattle, WA and built a home there in 1958. Their son Kenneth Culver was born in 1962. Dolores worked at various banks as a trust clerk before retiring in 1987. In 2008 she moved to Westport to be closer to her son. She enjoyed gardening, baking, traveling, attending church and the Westport Senior Center. She is survived by her brother Harris Larsen, sister Mildred Janka, son Kenneth Culver, grandson Sean Culver, granddaughter Jasmine Victoria Culver, and many loving nieces and nephews.
