Faye Marie Briggs passed away at her home on August 5th 2011. She was sick for several months. Faye was born in San Fransico, CA. on May 11th 1919. She was married to Lt. Commander R. Ward Briggs of the U.S. Navy for over 50 years, he passed away in 1995. Faye was the loving mother of Noreen E. Koenig who passed away in 1975. She was the daughter of Clarence and Edith Searles, both passed away many years ago. And the beloved sister of Ila V. Bruce who passed away in 1978.
Faye loved to host social and family gatherings. She loved to plan and organize. She loved shopping, cooking, baking, gardening and caring for her home. She loved to curl up and read a good book or two. And she loved to go to lunch with her niece, Sharon.
Faye loved her family and would help anyone, if she could. Faye was a loyal friend.
She will forever live in the hearts of all who knew her and loved her.
