

Fern Anderson Wiseth was born in Warren, Minnesota on July 6, 1920. She came to Seattle in the early 1940’s and met Ernest Wiseth. They married in 1953. She worked numerous retail jobs until her retirement in 1985. She was widowed in 1987.
Fern was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, now Lamb of God for over 50 years. She served as a greeter and newsletter helper. Also, she was a member of several groups in the church, including Women’s Guild, Dorcas Fellowship, and the Quilters.
Known for her “green thumb” and love of gardening, she had beautiful flowers everywhere, all the time. She also was an avid crossword puzzle worker. She loved to travel, especially with Stan Boreson.
Fern is survived by niece Lynette Stewart; nephew Kent (April) Johnson; great nieces Amoura (Brian) French and Judy Peterson; great nephews Mike Stewart, Martin Stewart, Ordean Iverson, Dalen Iverson, Greg Iverson, Jerry Iverson, Kevin Iverson.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Lamb of God Lutheran Church. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Acacia Funeral Home. A private family graveside will be held at Acacia Memorial Park.
