Geri Jean was born August 26th 1944 in West Seattle to Elwood & Helen Ryland. She graduated from Chief Sealth High School where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Ronald Bilyeu, who preceded her in death in 1996, as well as her son, Steven Bilyeu, that preceded her in 2005.
Geri is survived by her daughter Doreen, Brother Elwood, grandchildren Brandon, Carmen, Kortney, Kyle, Hailey, Sammy, and Matteo. Great grandchildren, Markis, with baby Holli due in September.
Her hobbies and personal interests included anything family, going on cruises and adventures, exploring with friends and family, gardening, as well as agility training and competition with her beloved dog, Heidi, where they won numerous ribbons together.
Geri was a kind soul with a touch of fire, sometimes leaving you a little shocked; she was a straight shooter with a twist, as they would say, you never knew what you would get. Just know it was honest.
Geri was born and raised, and lived her entire life in West Seattle with a wish of one day moving to the country to enjoy the slower paced life.
Geri spent her final years living her best life where she had moved to the country with her family.
She was small but left a mighty impact on everyone she came encounter with.
Geri’s graveside services will include family only. A celebration of Geri’s life will be held at a later date.
