Jack Harley Patterson

Jack H. Patterson, 94, went to his home in heaven on September 17, 2021. He was born to Robert and Yvona Patterson in Fresno, California in October of 1926. Jack graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1944. He married Merle Davis on September 12, 1947. They had 2 children, Debra Kay (1951) and Valerie Jo (1953). Jack and Merle celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary on September 12, 2021.

Jack started out as an oil furnace repair apprentice and worked his way to owning 49% of L&O distributors when he retired. His customers loved his friendly service. He was a long time member of Shoreline United Methodist Church.

Jack and Merle were longtime youth leaders and he loved to sing and play saxophone. He enjoyed waterskiing/boating, badminton, square dancing, jogging around Green Lake and camping! He also loved playing board games and dominoes. Their family time was always geared around what was fun for his girls and their friends.

Jack gave great hugs and friendship to all who knew him. No one was ever without a family when you met Jack and Merle!

Jack is survived by his wife Merle, children Debra (Scott); Valerie (Ken); Grandchildren Kelsey (Lee); Tyler (Adina); Vonna (Matt); Kara (Devin); and six great grandchildren.

Memorial will be on October 16, 2021
