Jaelee Rae Drawdy

Jaelee Rae Drawdy passed away October 1, 2024, gone too soon. Jaelee was born on June 16, 1997 in Federal Way, Washington, becoming the last child of parents Jeanine and Larry Drawdy, and joining her sisters: Josie, Jericho, Janelle and brother Lucas. She was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church of Des Moines, WA. Jaelee was a godsend and greatly loved by her family.

At an early age, Jaelee became an avid swimmer, speedskater and basketball player. When she was very young she fell in love with horses when spending time at her Aunt Laurie's farm and learning to ride. Jaelee joined Pierce County 4-H at the age of 8, spending all the time she could at the Pierce County fairgrounds riding and competing. Her dream of being on the Bethel Equestrian Team became a reality as she excelled in becoming a competitive drill rider with her teammates. Jaelee rode many horses: Jazz, Frosty, Dent, Shadow, Chico and Missfire, while being awarded numerous ribbons and trophies and earning the honorable nickname "Cowboy Jae." She graduated from Graham Kapowsin High School in 2015.

Jaelee will be forever missed and loved. She has now gone to the spirit in the sky joining her beloved sister Josie and other loved ones. May she rest in peace and ride forever.
