With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeannette Karen (Galusha) Perry, who passed away peacefully under hospice care at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, WA, after bravely enduring a series of strokes. She was surrounded by love in her final days, just as she had given so much love throughout her life.
Jeannette was born on January 22, 1966, in Seattle, WA, to Russel and Karen (Sorlie) Galusha. The eldest of six children, she grew up in Duvall, WA, where she developed a deep love for animals and spent countless hours riding her horses. She graduated from Tolt High School in Carnation, WA, in 1984.
In April 1988, Jeannette’s greatest joy entered her life—her daughter, Jilliane M. (Galusha) Schroeder. Being a mother and, later, a grandmother brought her immeasurable happiness. She found pure joy in spending time with her three beloved grandchildren, cherishing every moment she had with them.
Jeannette spent most of her life in and around the Snoqualmie Valley, working various retail jobs where her kindness and warm spirit touched many. She was always the first to offer a helping hand, and her deep love for her friends and family was evident in everything she did.
She is preceded in death by her beloved siblings, Ray R. Galusha and Mary V. Galusha.
Jeannette’s legacy of love and kindness lives on in those she leaves behind: her parents, Russel and Karen Galusha; her siblings, Joseph D. Galusha, Malvey (Mal) D. Galusha, and Gena O. Galusha; her daughter, Jilliane M. Schroeder, and son-in-law, Christopher Schroeder; and her three adored grandchildren, Sadie M. Schroeder (6), Lillie M. Schroeder (6), and Levi S. Schroeder (5). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Jeannette’s warm heart, selfless spirit, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Though she is gone, the love she gave and the memories she created will forever remain in our hearts.
