Eventually they settled in Woodinville where she raised both of her children.
She was an avid bowler as well as part of a women's league at Kenmore Lanes. She made sure to travel to parts of the country as a family to places she had been to: Oregon Coast every year, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Grand Canyon, Denver Colorado to see her aunt and uncle, Disneyland and Disneyworld, Albuquerque to visit Great Grandma Marie McCoy in Oklahoma City. She also went on several trips to see Aunt Ellen and Uncle Jim.
Most recently, she lived in Bothell and had many sleepovers with her granddaughter Sarah as well as many family gatherings with both daughters and grandchildren. She worked as an office manager for Penn Mutual Life for 30 years. She made many lifelong friends at her workplace and enjoyed having dinner with them. She was a part of the woman's Bible group in her community for a few years. She always made sure that everyone received a birthday and Christmas card no matter what and would call you to sing "Happy Birthday".
She was an avid reader most of her live and had quite the collection. She enjoyed doing her daily crossword puzzles as well as 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles. In the last few years, she would ride along with her brother, John to his car shows. She always enjoyed seeing the old cars and talking with the owners.
She was helpful with her neighbors, offering a meal or just to sit with their loved one to allow a break.
She will be missed by her family and friends dearly.
There will be a memorial sometime in the spring for family and friends to attend.
