Born in Chicago, Karenis survived by her devoted husband, John Bochon; her children, Robert Putnam, David Putnam(Melinda), Tammera Rutz (Don), and Lisa Putnam Riedl (Kevin); and her beloved grandchildren, Melody Putnam Arnold, Brittany Putnam Gonzalez, Ashley Putnam. David Putnam, Andrew Rutz, Angela Rutz, Andrea Rutz, Alec Rutz, Travis Riedl, and Selena Riedl.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bliss and Stella Frye of Wisconsin, and her brother, Richard Frye and William Frye.
Karen enjoyed a long and successful career with AT&T, working in both Illinois and Washington. outside of work, she was a gifted seamstress and an award - winning quilter. She found great joy in the natural beauty of Washington and loved hiking its many parks.
