

Katherine Anne Kelly, 37, died in Seattle, Washington on April 3 after a courageous battle. Kate attended Red Bank Regional High School in New Jersey and graduated from the University of Vermont. After graduation Kate moved to Boston where she worked for 13 years in legal recruiting, most recently as Manager of Legal Recruitment and Development at the Boston office of Latham & Watkins LLP. In 2012 she received a Masters Degree in Organizational Management from Boston University. In the fall of 2013 Kate and her husband, Michael Laskin, moved to Seattle.
Kate was predeceased by all four grandparents, an uncle and two aunts. She is survived by her husband; her parents, Robert and Susan, of Shrewsbury; and her two younger brothers and sisters-in-law: Andrew and Lindsay Kelly of Washington, DC and Eamonn Kelly and Elana Alfred of Jamaica Plains, Massachusetts. In addition, she is survived by parents-in-law Alan Laskin, Carol Laskin and Foster Davidson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Benjamin Laskin and Marissa Perman; 20 aunts and uncles; 2 nephews; and 33 cousins. The wake will take place on Sunday April 13 in Red Bank, NJ at Thompson Memorial Home from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will take place on Monday April 14 in Red Bank, NJ at St. James Catholic Church at 9am.
