Khun Veng Ung

Mr. Ung Khun Veng was a respectable and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend who made a positive and lasting impression on anyone he met. He was a boy from a small city who had a vision to become the owner of a vodka distillery in the capitol city of Cambodia. He was a risk taker,a great leader that was not afraid to chase after his dreams and taught us to do the very same. At the young age of 16, he sacrificed his life for his mother by volunteering to take her place when a kidnapping occurred. This showed what type of man he was, one that would do anything for his family. He was able to impact everyone’s life through his kindness, his selflessness and his commitment and love for his family. His attitude towards life was admirable, always thinking of the positives and never dwelling on the negatives. If you needed a shoulder to lean on, or words of encouragement and advice he was always there with open arms. Throughout his life, he never met anyone who did not like him. He treated everyone equally without prejudice. Anyone who knew him, knew of his wisdom, courage, generosity, and devotion to his family. He left a great legacy for his family, something we are all proud of

and will always remember and cherish forever in our hearts. We love you and miss you so much and forever will appreciate everything you have done for our family by showing us the brighter side of life. Rest in peace and until we meet again.
