Lillian passed away Oct 30,2016 after losing over a 5 year battle with bladder cancer. Born Lillian Minnie Schaper as the first child of Albert William and Stella Louis Schaper in Hedinger, ND (near Bismark). She was followed 3 years later by a brother, Robert Leroy Schaper. At age 7, her family moved from North Dakota to West Seattle where she graduated from West Seattle High School in 1954. She was married to Lawrence Dolye in 1955 and lived in Edmonds. An avid dog lover she had various dogs throughout her life including a boxer and sheepdog. They lived in Boise, ID for a short time. In 1967, she married John Warner and they traveled to various places including Africa, which Lillian called, "A trip of a lifetime." They settled in Federal Way living where Lil lived for over 40 years befriending her neighbors. Her neighbors were dear to her as they provided her care throughout the years. She kept a meticulous home and always had peanut M&Ms. She had a sweet tooth and a devotion to dental cleanings. She worked at National Rental Car at Seatac Airport retiring with over 47 years of service. She is survived by her brother (Robert) and nephew (Scott).
