MARJORY AMDAHL BURNS, 89. Passed away unexpectedly at her home on June 11, 2015. She was born on February 9, 1926 in Minneapolis, MN. Marge was married to the love of her life, Bob, in May 1949, when they moved to Seattle to begin their life together. Marge was a long-time member of Sand Point Country Club, and loved to golf, even having made two holes-in-one. She was also Captain of the Women’s Division. Marge was also one of the original members of the Assistance League of Seattle and continued to work at their Thrift Shop until just a few years ago. She was also a volunteer for many years at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the Puget Sound Blood Bank. Marge was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob, in July 1994. Marge leaves behind her two daughters, Sue Toyoda (Scott) and Linda Bissett (John), grandchildren Cam and Kimiko Toyoda, and Robby Bissett. She is also survived by her sisters Dee Oughtred and Lois Towne, as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, 1:30pm at Cristwood Park Activity Center. 350 N 190th St in Shoreline.
