Myron John Joseph Healy May 21, 1917 to August 20, 2012 Myron was born in Seattle and died in Seattle at 95 years of age.He graduated from O'Day High School and attended Seattle University.During WWII he worked at the Lake Union Drydocks as a pipefitter. Later he worked at Bethlehem Steel, and at Harbor Island Drydocks. At times he worked two and three jobs to help support his family. He sold newspapers, washed laundryat Swedish Hospital, and drove a taxicab.What he loved the most was working for Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo. He started as a Zoo Keeper, working with a variety of animals. After 20 years he retired as Zoo Foreman.He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lucile Healy, daughters Karen Lovell and Elise Sandwick (Gary Sandwick), son Dan Healy (Karen Healy), nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, brother Joseph R. Healy, sister Adrienne Heathman, and many nieces and nephews.
