

Paul O. Christopher III died just before his 77th birthday on March 17, 2016 in Olympia, Washington. He was born in 1939 in Nashville, TN to Paul O. and Jessie Christopher Jr. Paul attended Roosevelt High School in Seattle, WA. He served in the Marine Corps. from 1957 to 1959, and the reserves through 1963 with the title of Lance CPL E3. He was a rifle instructor after obtaining the ‘Possible’, which was a perfect score 250 points. For 45 years he was a manager of various drug stores. He managed Pay-N-Save stores for 27 years. He enjoyed and treated his employees well. He married Ruth Magill Christopher on December 8, 1990. He is preceded in death by his brother Albert Christopher and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; his children Kerry Walker, Kim Nordstrom, Bill Christopher, Kristi Sage, and Mike Magill as well as his beloved son and daughter-in-laws, Tim, Eric, Cindy, Greg, and Crystal. Paul’s favorite past time was worrying…..about everything possible. Those who knew him well were a source of his worries. We all received hundreds of phone calls with his repetitive questions and concern. We will miss that dearly! Another favorite past time was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He has 11 grandchildren; Laura Williams, Richard Walker, Christopher Walker, Aaron Dodd, Alex Dodd, Alyssa Dodd, Adam Dodd, Anna Dodd, Nathan Christopher, Anna Christopher and Tyler Magill. He had 5 great grandchildren with one on the way; Jeremiah Williams, Jenna Williams, Aiden Walker, Emma Walker, Zain Dodd, and a baby girl en route, Mia Adalynn. Paul’s memorial service will be celebrated on April 24, 2016 at the Waltz House in Snohomish, WA from 2p.m. to 5p.m.
