Aunt Anna, you were always a kick in the pants! I'm sure you will continue this. You'll be missed dearly and eternally. I will see you down the road somewhere. Miss you, love you.

My condolences go out to my dear friend Andrea and family.  Ann was a very special person and I was honored to get to know her and she will be missed.

Dear DiPaolo Family, I know it is not easy losing a love one in death. I too have recently lost a love one so I understand what you are going through. God also knows how we feel. That is why he provided mankind with comfort from the Bible to help us cope. One comforting Bibile text is found at Relevation 21:3-4. I hope these verses provide you with the comfort you need at this time and in the future.

Dear Aunt Anna, we will always remember all the good times our family had together.  There was always a lot of laughter.  We especially remember your laugh.  It could easily light up a room. Wish we had more memories to share, but we will always treasure all the special moments we did have; and these will always live on forever.

My Dearest Aunt Anna
     I will miss you terrably, I will miss your voice and how you had a special way of saying my name, I always knew it was you on the phone. I'll never forget the nite time calls to my father about what time the football game was on.  Now you and uncle Tony have the best seats in the house. You and my mom can hang out together and smoke all the cigs you want just don't let Grandma see you.  I'll never forget you and my mom in grandma's bathroom blowing cigarette smoke out the window.  I don't know If you guys ever realised that the smoke still rushed out when you opened the door.  Those were the best times when us kids were little and the adults hung out in Grandma's kitchen yelling at each other but loving each other in their own special way. 
     I loved when you came over to my house in the summer to hang out on the deck during a party. I will miss our conversations but most of all I will miss your love and enduring spirit. I love you Aunt Anna and you will always hold a special place in my heart.  I will never forget you.  My father has lost his best friend and sister and I know his heart is breaking.  He actually said who am I gonna argue with now. You always won those battles.  He always called first.  He will miss you so much.
     Andrea I know how you are feeling and I wish there was some way to take away your pain. I can tell you the truth it gets better but the loss is always there.  Take comfort though she is in a better place with the people she loves.  She will forever watch over you and AJ and I bet she has God"s ear already.  She's gonna be a riot up there and  Heaven will never be the same, she'll get things organized and set it up the way she wants it.  Maybe she'll start Heavenly Bingo with coffee and pastry you never know.

Guide my mom to her new home. Unite her with my Dad so they can spend eternity together.  Keep her safe and warm and close to all her family and friends who have joined You.  I will miss her greatly.but I have comfort knowing that she is with You.

Dear Andrea,

     How quickly time passes. I'm so sorry about your mom but  I would bet she and Mamie are already raising hell in Heaven!
     Your parents were very dear friends to our whole family. Your Mom and Dad were the only ones who would drive up from the city to visit. Not only that but they would always have a trunk full of tools and Uncle Tony would always take on a major project at our house.
     Aunt Anna was always a very special person to me and I can still hear her animated voice when we would occasionally speak on the phone, even in recent years.
      My biggest regret I think is that I never bought her the hotdog she wanted. She always reminded me of that right up until my last conversation with her (past 80!)

Dear Cousin Andrea and Family,
I am so sad to learn about Aunt Anna's passing. I have such fond memories of spending time with you, Aunt Anna and Uncle Tony as a kid.  I remember Uncle Tony driving us to the Casino's and everyone sneaking me in; spending the night at your home after missing my flight back from Spring Break, it was so sweet of your parents to drive all that way at night to save me and my friend from spending the night at the airport in NYC; and I remember (please forgive me!) poking holes in poor Aunt Anna's paper flowers in her dining room when I was probably 6 or 7.  I'm sure she knew it was me, but I never apologized! I have such fond memories of spending time with your family and am so appreciative of their kindness and generosity Andrea.  These are great memories I will have for the rest of my life.  May your sweet, loved mother rest in peace.  I am sure she is enjoying a nice laugh right now with "Mamie" in heaven.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and everyone who was lucky enough to be part of Aunt Anna life. We love you, Susan, Chris and Shawn

Dearest Aunt Anna,

You were so much more than just my aunt, we both shared wonderful times and so much laughter, oh the fun we had together and the memories that will remain in my heart forever.  

You were always there for me as I was for you, never to be forgotten. 

As you called him, your Frankie dank and Jennifer (Jen) have their own wonderful memories of you while growing up, especially the macks (macaroni) as you called it, and always had ready for them when they came over.
As we recently reminised at Jen's house one of the stories you were telling us, her daughter Bri overheard, yesterday she came to Jen with pictures she made of you with your famous red hair and Jen, one of the pictures was of you by the stove cooking macks.

Although we were apart for a little while, it felt so good to be back again and we didn't miss a beat when we saw each other, who knew it would only be for a short time.

We will all miss you, my dear aunt you touched so many lives, but god needed you, so its time to rest and be with your beloved husband, uncleTony.

Annie was like a second mom not only to me, but to everyone whose life she and her late husband Tony touched. They were two of the most wonderful people in the world, and I was lucky to have had them in my life, and Andrea too, who is like a sister to me. Tony was taken too soon, but he was "Everydad". He had every tool ever made and every kid in the neighborhood eventually stopped by to ask "Mr. D" for help with their cars, or to fix something, or to just get some fatherly advice. The DiPaolo door was always open ... literally .... when you drove by the house on Boyd Avenue, the door was open. And we all just walked in. You never had to knock. And once you were inside, you never left without being fed by "Mrs. D". Maybe you just sat at the kitchen table and talked, and laughed, got some motherly advice, and sometimes when you did something stupid, and we always did, they'd tell you.....because they cared. Or maybe you sat in the living room watching TV with them, but whatever it was you were treated like one of their own. They were special people. My heart broke when I heard the sad news from Andrea, but I was relieved to find out that Mom passed peacefully. She is now with Tony, and I know that they are watching over all of their kids. I was extremely lucky to be one of them. My dear Andrea, you and AJ have our most heartfelt condolences. Donna and I have you in our thoughts and prayers, and we know that the loving memories you have of Mom will give you strength during this sad time. Rest in Peace Mrs. D, and say hi to Mr. D for me. I loved you, miss you and you both will be in my heart forever.

Dearest Aunt, 

There are no words to express the lifetime memories that I will always hold in my heart for you. You were always there for me as I was for you. 

You created such memories for my two children, known to you as Frankie Dank & Jennifer, they will always cherish the memories and will share all the stories that you created with them. 

Although we were apart for a short time, I thought of you often. It  didn't surprise me that getting back together we both picked up where we left off. It felt so good even though we didn't know there was only a short time left. I will always cherish the wonderful times we had and oh my god all the laughter and fun we shared through the years and lets not forget all the excitement and drama that surrounded our lives just being in our family. 

I will miss you my dearest Aunt and think of you often, but it's ok to rest now because you are with your beloved husband.

Aunt Anna you were a wonderful woman...I can still hear your laugh to this day and will always remember it! Never heard a person say an ill word toward you as you were loved by us all. Andrea, A.J., Rita, Lucy and Louie my sincerest condolences on the passing of your Mother,Grandmother and Sister. As you said Andrea...Your mother and my mother ("Maimie") were more like sisters. I can still remember the visits to Jersey City...playing stickball with the neighborhood kids and having fun with you, your mom and dad, Uncle Tony.
