Barbara R. Mason passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born on April 5, 1936, and recently moved to Secaucus, NJ, after spending more than 25 years in Cape May—a place she truly loved.
Barbara retired from Block Drug in Jersey City after a long and dedicated career. In her retirement, she enjoyed the simple pleasures, such as reading historical romance novels; watching Jeopardy! and challenging herself with the trivia questions and celebrating her lifelong love of Elvis.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lloyd Mason, Barbara Ann Mattaliano and her husband, John Pierre; her devoted sister, Doralee Johnstone; and and her cherished granddaughter, Jennifer Mason. She was predeceased by her beloved grandson, Johnny Mattaliano, Jr. She also leaves behind many loving extended family members and dear friends who will miss her kind heart and warm smile.
Private memorial service will be held for the family.
