Elizabeth “Betty” Mason, 88, of Secaucus, NJ, formerly of Jersey City, NJ entered eternal rest on June 15, 2025. Betty was born in Jersey City to the late Lewis Hart and Mary Hart King and lived in Jersey City before moving to Secaucus in 1975.
Beloved wife of the late John E. Mason, Sr. for 67 years. Devoted mother of John Mason, Jr. and his wife Coleen, the late Jacqueline Lesh-Franks and her husband Al. Loving grandmother of Alexis & Johnna Mason, the late Christopher Bann, Joseph Franks, Danielle Martinez and Tiffany Franks. Great grandmother of Steven, Anthony, Juliana, Annabelle, Aubrey, Ryan, and Carly. Loving Aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Betty is pre-deceased by her siblings, William Hardt, Mary Lou Toscano, Robert Hardt and Maureen "Pinky" Urban.
A visitation for Betty will be held Wednesday June 18, 2025, from 4 to 8 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. A Funeral Home Service will occur on Thursday at 10AM at Mack Memorial Home followed by her Committal Service at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
