Elvira "Vera" Sanducci-Dendy

In loving memory of Elvira (Vera) Sanducci-Dendy. . Born to the late Esther Sanducci (nee Peters) and Alphonse Sanducci on May 31, 1943, in Hoboken, NJ. Formerly of Hoboken, New Jersey, and most recently Lauderdale by the Sea.

Predeceased by her loving husband Walter N. Dendy. Loving brothers John Sanducci and his wife Ella, and Richard Sanducci and his wife Carol. Adoring Godfather Phillip (Hank) Tirone. Survived by her loving sister Lorraine Conroy and her husband Thomas and her loving brother Alphonse Sanducci and his late wife Susan. Aunt to John Sanducci Jr. and his wife Karen, Richard Sanducci Jr., and his wife Angela, Charlene Ludwig, George Sanducci and his late wife Maria, and Kelli D’Addetta and her husband John. Great Aunt to Alexandra ,Michael, Nicholas, Christian, Alexa, Anthony, Matthew, and Ava. Vera began her finance career in 1974 at Shearson Hayden Stone as a secretary. She earned her BS in Finance at St. Peter’s College. She continued with the company through many years and many acquisitions and retired in 1999 as the Vice President of Finance for Citigroup. Upon her retirement, she and her husband moved permanently to their happy place Lauderdale by the Sea.

Vera was an active member of Assumption Church and President of her condo association. She enjoyed the sunny days of Florida and coffee with her friends at Dunkin Donuts. She loved a good BBQ and enjoyed reading in her free time. To know Vera was to love her. She supported many charities and organizations. She was a kind person, always willing to help everyone. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A visitation for Elvira "Vera" will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 4 to 8PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Friday, January 5th at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ.
