Gicela Mejias, age 59, of Jersey City, NJ passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Born to the late Ricardo and Maria Almonte in the Dominican Republic she spent most of her life there before moving to the Bronx, NY and ultimately settling in Jersey City. Gicela was a private Attorney in a firm in the Dominican republic and was currently working for Ose Philadelphia for the last years. She is survived by her children; daughter, Heidy Romero and her husband Pablo & Son, Ricardo Vizcaino; Grandchildren, Diego Romero and Marco Romero; Siblings, Manuel Almonte and his wife Yoli, Carmen Maria Almonte de Rodriguez and her husband Fidel, and Luz Almonte.
A visitation for Gicela will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 3 to 7PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. Her Cremation will be Private
