

Howard James Lightcap Jr., 87, of Palm Coast FL, formerly of Secaucus, NJ passed away November 16, 2011. Howard was born in North Bergen, NJ. He graduated from Dickinson H.S. Howard served in the U. S. Navy, earning the Victory Medal and Asiatic Pacific 5 br. Stars. Howard was employed by G.E. as a machinist until his retirement in 1993. He was a past Secaucus Councilman and President of the Holy Name Society of Immaculate Conception Church. In November of 1996 Howard moved from Va. to Palm Coast FL. He became a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Howard was also a member of K.O.C. Palm Coast and the V.F.W 3776. Howard was preceded in death by Brother Edwin Lightcap, and Sister Dorothy Federman. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Margaret of Palm Coast, FL. and one daughter Patricia Hackman of Alexandria, Va. Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 22, 2011 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives and friends on Wednesday at 9 AM for a 10 AM Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
