James Edward Cabany, 74, a lifelong resident of Secaucus, NJ entered into rest on Wednesday August 13, 2014. Beloved husband of Rita L. (nee Gasser) Cabany. Devoted father of Connie Cirigliano and her husband Perry, Colleen McDonald and her husband Hugh and James E. Cabany. Loving grandfather of Krista, Julia, Perry and Alex. Dear brother of the late Robert and Thomas Cabany and Frances Sierfeld. Uncle of many nieces & nephews. James served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was a Turnpike Toll Collector and a member of Local 560 Truckers Union. Visitation will be held on Sunday August 17, 2014 from 2 PM to 6 PM with a 5 PM funeral service at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of James may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Ave, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
