John was born in Jersey City to Marion (LeBarbara) Buckley. He was a loving husband and a proud father who will be missed by all who knew him. A highly respected police officer of 35 years, John was a retired Captain and former head of the detective division of the Secaucus Police Department.
He is survived by his loving wife Teresa (Pancoski) Buckley, his son Sean, and daughter Sarah. He also leaves behind his loving friends and extended family.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 10th, 2017 from 4-8 PM at the Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 11th, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Our Savior, also in Secaucus.
