John Eglentowicz

John Eglentowicz, age 79, of Secaucus, New Jersey passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023. John was born and raised in Jersey City to the late John E. Eglentowicz, Sr. and Pauline (Starzynski) Eglentowicz, then moved to Weehawken, and eventually settled here in Secaucus over 45 years ago. He spent 37 years in the financial services industry working up from the mailroom at First Jersey National Bank, earning a degree in Finance at St. Peter’s College on nights and weekends, and ending his career as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley. John moved on to his retirement career in the Records Division of the Secaucus Police Department. John is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Nora (Riordan) Eglentowicz; his cherished daughter Keri Ann Eglentowicz and her husband Antonio Suarez; His devoted grandchildren Sofia and Marco Suarez; brother, Edward and his wife Helen; sister-in-law Joan and her husband Chris O'Connor; sister-in-law Mary Downes and her partner Patrick Daly of Limerick, Ireland; and many adoring nieces, nephews and family members.

A visitation for John will be held Monday, March 13th from 4 to 8 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Tuesday, March 14th at 9:30 AM at The Immaculate Conception Church, Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. His cremation will be private.
