Joseph F. Stinson Jr., age 67, of Secaucus, NJ passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Joe was born to the late Joseph Sr. and Josephine (Ciani) Stinson in Jersey City and live in Hoboken before moving to Secaucus over 30 years ago. Joe was a teacher for many townships over the years, a Hugely Devoted NJ Devils Hockey Fan, but was mostly known for being a football coach in Hoboken, Franklin, Perth Amboy, and most recently Eastside High School in Paterson. Joe was married to his loving wife of 41 years, Nancy (Erbo) Stinson; Beloved father of Jennifer Stinson; Cherished brother of the late Alice Pachon; Brother-In-Law of Marie Wright and her husband Dennis; Devoted Uncle of Brian Vettoso and his wife Christina, Lisa Vettoso, and Brian Wright.
A visitation for Joseph will be held on Wednesday, May 7th at Mack Memorial Home 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Thursday, May 8th at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 1219 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus, NJ. followed by his Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ.
