Born in Weehawken, NJ to Joan and Joseph Llaneza.
Kathryn was predeceased by her sister Jayne Liotto and her husband Tony. She is survived by her husband Pedro DeLaPaz; her children Joan Rice and her husband Robert, Peter DeLaPaz and his wife Tiana, and Jeffrey DeLapaz and his wife Jeannie; her grandchildren Lucy, Nate, Finn, Nes, Dakota, Isla, and Cruz; and siblings Joe Llaneza and his wife Gerry, Tom Llaneza and his wife Eileen, Eileen Barroso and her husband Louie, Dan Llaneza and his wife Michelle, and Jack Llaneza. Kathryn also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, close family members, and friends.
A visitation for Kathryn will be held Wednesday, March 19 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Leber Funeral Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus, NJ 07094. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 20 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at SS Joseph & Michael RC Church, 1314 Central Ave, Union City, NJ 07087. Cremation will be private.
