Leonardo Minervini

Leonardo Minervini, of Secaucus, NJ, a lifelong Hudson County resident, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2010. Born in Molfetta, Bari, Italy in 1928 to the late Domenico and Maria Minervini. Leonardo came to the United States in 1952, first settling in Hoboken, then Jersey City and finally in Secaucus. He worked in the construction industry until retiring in 2000. Leonardo is the beloved husband of Maria (nee DeCandia) Minervini, devoted father of Dominick and his wife Yvonne, Larry and his wife Mary Ann and the late Gaetano Minervini, Leonardo is also survived by his loving grandchildren Francesca, Sofia, Nicolas and Talia Minervini and his siblings Gaetano & Saverio Minervini, Giovanna Minervini and the late Angela Minervini. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives and friends on Thursday at 9 AM for a 10 AM Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Leonardo may be made to The Steeplechase Cancer Center at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville, NJ.
