Saverio Minervini

Born in Molfetta Italy to Maria and Domenico Minervini; he would go on to emigrate to America in 1961. Saverio worked as a carpenter for Local Union 6, and was a partner in Pyramid Construction with his close friends Nunzio and John. He spent the last twenty years driving a school bus for the Secaucus Board of Education where he helped the children with special needs. He was a devout parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus, and a member of the Juventus Soccer Social Club. Saverio’s true loves in life were his family, gardening, and fishing.

He was predeceased by his siblings Angela, Leonardo, and Gaetano. He is survived by his beloved wife Angela Minervini; his loving children Dominick and his wife Lydia, Corrado and his wife Rosalia, and Leonardo and his wife Brittany; his cherished grandchildren Joseph, Nicholas, Giuliana, Ava, CJ, and Liliana; and his dear sister Giovanna.

A visitation for Saverio will be held Thursday, October 27, from 4 to 8PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ. A funeral mass will be held Friday, October 28, at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Paterson Plank Rd., Secaucus, NJ. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
