

William Hagan of Secaucus, age 89, passed away after an acute illness on March 10. Bill, as he was known to all, was an avid gardener, craftsman, good neighbor, country music lover and a great fan of horse racing at the Meadowlands. Born in Jersey City, Bill resided in Secaucus for over 60 years. He retired as a master tinsmith from Colgate-Palmolive Co.and was a loyal member of the Employees Association.
Bill was predeceased by his beloved mother Mary Fitzsimmons, his father William Hagan, and his step-father Harry Fitzsimmons. He was also pre-deceased by his sisters Dolores/Cissi Hagan and Eileen/Cookie Jennings, as well as his brothers-in-law Edward Kubiak and Michael Whalen.
Bill is survived by his loving sister Elizabeth (Hagan) Whalen as well as brother-in-law William Jennings. Bill is also fondly remembered by nieces and nephews, Mary Bowers, William Jennings, Nancy Nicotra, Michael Whalen, Eileen McCabe and their families. Bill is also greatly missed by his close friends and neighbors, Sharon and Buddy Yandoli. All who knew Bill loved his gentle spirit and sense of humor.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 10am - 12:30pm on Tuesday the 16th at Mack Memorial Home 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus followed by a Funeral Home Prayer Service at 12:30pm. His burial will be at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, NJ.
