Born in Makati, Philippines to Petronila and Rodrigo Gomez; she was one of eight children. Her siblings include Larry Gomez, Amelia Valdez, Danilo Gomez, Lilia Patram, Delia Gomez, Rachel Gomez, and Geraldine Gomez.
Yolanda was an incredibly tenacious and generous individual. Despite her long and arduous battle with lung cancer, she never stopped showing her boundless generosity and kindness to all those who knew her. Although her time here on earth has come to a bittersweet end, the memories of both her selflessness and good will live on through the lives she touched for even the briefest of moments.
Beloved wife of Noel M., and loving mother of Noel and Leone, and his significant other Shirin Pillai. Yolanda also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, close family members, and dear friends.
A visitation for Yolanda will be held Friday, January 17 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. A funeral service will be held during the visitation at 5:00 PM. The burial will take place on Tuesday, January 21 at Lee Memorial Park, Lehigh Acres, FL.
